Terezi x Karkat

Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!
Karkat Vantas rubbed his eyes open, pulling his body out of his recuperacoon. Someone was screaming outside of his lawnring, and he didn't like it. At all. Not only that, but it was growing louder by the second, as if some troll was making a mad dash to his hive.
Rinsing the green sopor slime off his body and pulling on his gray jeans and black shirt, with his ugly symbol on it, he walked towards his door, then slowly opened it, realizing that it was still a bit light out.
"Ugh, who's out here so early in the night? Some trolls are trying to sleep!" He didn't care that, with this yelling, he was probably waking up most of the other trolls in the hives near his. If he was gonna get woken up so early, so were they.
"Karkles!" The excited, high-pitched exclamation came running towards him, growing louder by the second. "You have so much space to run out here!"
The young troll's jaw dropped. "Terezi? What the fuck are you doing here? Do you realize how early it is? How'd you even know where my hive is?" He glared angrily at his maybe-matesprit, who was running around in a stupid scalemate cosplay, sharp orange horns poking out through the red costume. What was she thinking, running about like that where other trolls could see her? Her symbol wasn't even visible!
"What do you mean, what am I doing here?" She pouted. "I'm coming to visit you, silly!" As soon as he was in arm's reach, the girl jumped into a hug on Karkat.
He grolwed. "And who said you could visit me?" He ushered the female troll inside nonetheless, wanting to make sure none of his neighbors could see his cheeks, which were most likely flushing a disgusting cherry red.
And speaking of flushing.
Terezi toppled him over onto the floor, her usual shit-eating grin being worn. One of her creepy giggles escaped past her black lips, and Karkat shivered.
"Terezi, get the fuck off me."
Pouting, the other sat up, still slightly on top of him. Then she smiled again. "You know something, Karkat? You really need to cheer up a bit! I mean, you're always such a grumpy-wumpy crab face! Ever heard of fun?"
"I don't have time for fun," Karkat hissed out. "I'm to busy trying to keep all your morons together! Plus, Gamzee won't leave me the fuck alone." He thought of his "MoThErFuCkInG bEsT fRiEnD" and shivered again. That troll was... disgusting. Honestly, he eats sopor. They sleep in that stuff.
Terezi's smile widened as she stood, reaching out a hand to the troll still on the floor. "Well come with me, my prince! Many adventures of fun await us!"
After a moment's hesitation, Karkat accepted and was pulled up. What harm could a little bit of fun do? Surely he could fit in a little bit of it in his ever-busy schedule.
Which pretty much consisted of nothing but talking on Trollian, watching romcoms, and getting into fights with his Crabdad.
But hey, that's a pretyy damn busy lifestyle, when you throw in having to hide his mutation.
"Terezi. You're taking me to my respiteblock."
The troll girl continued to just grin, then grin some more, and she pulled her companion into the block. A bit of green slime was still slopped on the floor around where Karkat had pulled himself awake, but the blind girl took no notice. "No...." she began. "I'm taking you to a castle far away!"
When Karkat responded with nothing but an annoyed look, she continued, "Use your imagination, silly face!" She dragged him into the corner, then stopped.
"Are we done yet?" Annoyance crept out of his mouth with every word.
"done moving? Yup! Now I just have to rescue you from the horrible, evil, Spinnerette Mindfang!"
"Oh god..."
Terezi ripped off her dragon cosplay, showing her normal clothing and gray skin, with a teal design on the t-shirt.
Giggles bubbled out of her mouth, but then she became more serious. "I'll rescue you, fair maiden! Justice will be served!"
Karkat sighed at the girl's enthusiasm with a simple game. They weren't wrigglers anymore. They had more important things to worry about, like not getting culled. But then he smiled. This is what she enjoyed. And, he had to admit, he kind of enjoyed it too.


Both trolls collapsed to the floor, one in a fit of giggles, the other smiling his biggest-ever smile and laughing relatively hard.
Terezi turned to her matesprit. "So, Karkles."
"Yeah?" Karkat turned on his side to face her, too, ignoring the ridiculous nickname she gave him a few sweeps back.
"Did you have fun?"
"..." Yeah, he did. He hated to admit it, but he really did. He was about to cave and say yes, it was only Terezi, but then-
She kissed him.
Terezi leaned in to Karkat and kissed him.
After a moment's hesiation, a bit longer than it had taken him to take her hand, he kissed her back.
He had to admit it.
He loved spending time with his matesprit.
